Are we ever going to get full character recustomization?
Its only after several months of play that I finally realize that my favourite fantasy girl has a jaw that is alittle too manly for my tastes. It bugs me so bad.
I can shoot lightning. I can end the lives of many. I possess the wealth of nations. But I cannot have a little cosmetic surgery.
Now of course I don't expect this service to be free, maybe for a price of a plex? |

Why thank you *blows kisses everywhere*
Well. This is an alt. My main is so hideous I dare not link her.
Also while an avatar may look nice in a portrait, captains quarters are another thing entirely. Your avatar may not turn out the same in incarna content as it does in the character creator.
My main has a terrible brow ridge, so while I am not a sims-in-space fangirl, I'd rather not hear people sniggering about the cro-magnon chick as I pass by on an errand. |

I petitioned it but I don't expect anything. Those brow ridges are still eating at me.
Just take a look at your characters in side profile. You may just discover a glaring flaw. |

Jumping between bodies that are physically different. Hmm bloodline changes and opens up the can that may not be full of worms but probably is of gender change.
It would help players who bought a character but were not completely satisfied with the gender or bloodline of their character. |

Gosh darn I wish they'd stop wasting all this time on FiS and give us the WiS stuff we all have been waiting for. LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY CCP!!!11CAPSLOCK
Let's not get derailed by FiS > WiS
We play the game largely because of FiS TBH. WiS is part of the entire SF experience but the core game is still FiS.
Never thought I'd live to say it but big incarna boobies are not better. |

Oh yeah. Smiles.
Notice how they never touch the eyes? Smiles and grins always just look so fake and insincere. Sinister even.
There is a reason why smiling avatars are so rare. |

I'm going to say that's a nicely done sardonic/sarcastic smirk rather than a genuine smile of mirth (maybe just me) but its a great look nonetheless.
Eve has hands down the best character creator thus far. However the avaliable content tends to be limited as one poster pointed out before. Invariably, it is easy to tell at a glance what bloodline your character comes from. Bloodline traits are so apparent (narrow eyes of the Vherokior females, wide cheek bones of the Achura) that it comes across as a little unnatural. It is like every other Achura chick is a half-sister or a aunt and niece by my grandfather and a aunt.
Perhaps its the limited gene pool because of racial and political segregation and fact that Eve had not many to start out with. Still its unnerving to be cousins with everyone in my bloodline.

Oh...well, apparently they do still honor full re-customizations, but it's only a one time thing so if you've asked for one before then that's a no for you the second time.
I finally got my body to human/non-pornstar proportions so that's a plus. Also changed some minor facial stuff too, but I would think it would be literally impossible to tell the difference without a side by a side of my older avatar.
So yeah, go ahead and ask away I guess. That said, please be polite about it when asking. For some reason, I just felt I needed to add this as I feel someone out there will come, read the above, and, thru some magical power, get into a fight with a GM lol
Really? Sweet. That petition may just pay off after all. |

When I clone jump, I get a notice that my body customizations didn't jump with me. But I haven't bothered to try and customize a clone.
What's the deal?
You do not get to resculpt (facial structure) your avatar for every jump clone. Instead you simply reset your cosmetic customizations (make-up, hair etc) to one prior to your current look.
Note that however it does not change your portrait unless you perform a recustomization, meaning its possible to wear NeX items without them actually being equipped on your character (items are returned to your assets when you clone jump). |
